Ledger has On-boarded a Former Apple Music Executive

As per the latest reports, Ledger has just brought Parker Todd Brooks on board who was the Apple Music Veteran. Ledger is known to be one of the biggest and most prominent hardware wallets provides for cryptocurrencies.

The announcement was made by the cryptocurrency firm on Friday, April 2, 2021. Ledger has confirmed that Brooks will be joining the Ledger team as the head of the non-fungible token (NFT) division. Ledger has stated that the company has been making constant progressing and is currently observing a lot of growth in the NFT sector.

This is the reason why it has decided to proceed with a new venture into the non-fungible token (NFT) sector. However, in order to give the venture a perfect start, they wanted to bring someone on board that has had a lot of experience in a similar kind of sector.

This is when they approached Parker Todd Brooks and were lucky enough to bring him on board. For them, Brooks will turn out to be the best choice in elevating their NFT project and taking it to the next level.

The Ledger team has revealed that Brooks will be heading the NFT project and will be providing support for the security, management, display, and management of the NFT pieces.

Before moving to Ledger, Brooks had been a part of the Apple Music project for more than seven years. Brooks’ contribution to Apple Music has been tremendous as he is one of the personalities that helped Apple Music to launch.

Furthermore, he helped the company set up the Beats 1 music radio station. This happened after 2014 when Apple had already gone ahead and acquired Beats Music.

Before moving to Apple, Brooks was artist integrations’ director at Beats Music. Prior to Beats Music, he had worked as the lead of integration at Topspin Media.

After joining Ledger, Brooks will be working as the Vice President for Ledger’s NFT platform. He will be responsible for creating a bridge that will connect the artistic communities. On top of that, he will be responsible for working and introducing products for NFT management.

Brooks will also be responsible for making sure that the non-fungible token (NFT) service is given priority across the hardware and software platforms of Ledger.

Brook also took the opportunity to share his joy in becoming a part of one of the prominent firms in the cryptocurrency sector. He stated that his entire career has been based around technology and interacting/serving the artist community.

He stated that with the introduction of NFTs, the concept of the creation of music and art can now be understood.

He stated that it is going to be a new venture for him and he is going to give it his best to ensure that he simplifies the NFT process for the artists as much as he can.
